fellowshipiconEXPERIENCING

From the top of the picturesque Sandia Mountains to the quiet whisper of the winds through the Bosque, we are able to experience God in everything around us.  Join us on a journey where we study God and experience His majesty in our everyday lives!

outreachPROCLAIMING

When we walk in Fellowship with our Lord, and experience happiness beyond all compare as a child of God, it is impossible not to proclaim the joy that we have to the outside world.  At our church we proudly proclaim that Jesus is King of Kings and Lord or Lords!

WELCOME

First Baptist Church Tijeras is a family-oriented, rural Church
At FBC Tijeras, we love to study and apply the teachings of Jesus Christ to our daily lives.  Our church is located in Tijeras, a welcoming mountain town where we enjoy a quiet peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city while worshiping at a country pace.  We offer Life Connection and Bible Study classes for all stages of life, children’s ministry, a music/praise environment featuring both contemporary and traditional music, as well as several opportunities to serve our local East Mountain community.

We warmly offer you an invitation to visit us at our place of worship, and to come just as you are.  Whether you are in search of answers, are a new believer, or have been a Christian for many years, you will have a home at FBC Tijeras!
We invite you to join us on Sunday Mornings for
Life Connection (9:30AM) and Worship Service (10:50AM)

Seth, December 27, 2020 - 9:49 pm

I’ve handwritten an unspoken prayer request on Dec. 27, 2020. Please pray that the Lord will fully, powerfully answer everything I’ve asked for on that prayer request. Pray for wisdom where I ask for wisdom; for guidance where I ask for guidance; And for the Lord to provide the strength and power to change in all the areas I ask for. Pray that the Lord will answer far above and beyond all I could ask or imagine, and that everything He does through this prayer request will bring glory to Him. Pray that many powerful prayer warriors will pray for this with great faith. Thank you for your prayers.

Please pray for Lorraine’s healing. She lost her hearing, has memory loss, bad posture, body pain, and blood pressure issues. Pray for excellent health. Pray for a long life for Lorraine, in Jesus’ name. Pray for the removal of debt regarding Lorraine, in Jesus’ name. Pray Lorraine’s possessions last a hundred times longer and become newer each day. Also, please pray for excellent health and long life regarding my uncle Seve.

Roxeanna Murphy, December 16, 2020 - 12:31 pm

Please pray for Aaron’s bosses boss Susan at Faith Comes by Hearing. She was diagnosed with COVID-19 about a week or so ago and is now in the hospital and was moved to the ICU this morning. She is 70 and on a respirator. She also noticed the hospital apparently put a “do not resuscitate “ on her chart when no one had requested it, she got it removed but it seems strange that it was put on there. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

Marie Cruz, December 5, 2020 - 1:05 pm

David Murphy, July 19, 2020 - 3:30 pm

My dad, Joe Murphy, this week is being put on a heart monitor for 20 days to assess a low heart rate issue. This may end up with him needing a pace maker. They are also looking at his medications to see if that may be causing the issue. This is on top of his eye issues and not being able to see in one eye and only peripheral vision in the other. Please pray for healing and peace as he is going through this.

David, July 8, 2020 - 9:24 pm

Please pray for Roxeannas cousin Terrah and her husband John and family. They just found out that John’s father has cancer. He has a mass in the liver and in the gall bladder. Pray for healing, comfort and peace as they go through this time of trial and uncertainty. Also, John and Terrah are out of town right now for Johns training for his job so they need prayer for their travels and separation from the family.

Seth, July 5, 2020 - 9:09 pm

I am about $10,000 in unsecured debt, and I haven’t been able to pay the full rent or power bill this time. I’ve tithed for years, and given and given to ministries and those in need. I don’t think I’m in debt primarily from spending, since I’m frugal, but from obsessive giving. Please pray that God will heal the serious brokenness and heart problems that are behind this. That He’ll change the lies and false beliefs. Please pray for the Lord’s forgiveness of all these debts, and that He’ll give me a clean start. Pray for forgiveness and cleansing from many other issues as well. Thanks for your prayers.

Pastor Alan, June 30, 2020 - 2:15 pm
