Experiencing, Proclaiming, and Extending God’s Love to our World

From the top of the picturesque Sandia Mountains to the quiet whisper of the winds through the Bosque, we are able to experience God in everything around us.  Join us on a journey where we study God and experience His majesty in our everyday lives!

When we walk in Fellowship with our Lord, and experience happiness beyond all compare as a child of God, it is impossible not to proclaim the joy that we have to the outside world.  At our church we proudly proclaim that Jesus is King of Kings and Lord or Lords!

While experiencing the awesome wonder of God and proclaiming our love for Him, we are dedicated to extending the love and grace that God has shown us to the rest of the world.  We extend to you an invitation to be a part of our family, the Family of God!

First Baptist Church Tijeras is a family-oriented, rural Church
At FBC Tijeras, we love to study and apply the teachings of Jesus Christ to our daily lives.  Our church is located in Tijeras, a welcoming mountain town where we enjoy a quiet peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city while worshiping at a country pace.  We offer Life Connection and Bible Study classes for all stages of life, children’s ministry, a music/praise environment featuring both contemporary and traditional music, as well as several opportunities to serve our local East Mountain community.
We warmly offer you an invitation to visit us at our place of worship, and to come just as you are.  Whether you are in search of answers, are a new believer, or have been a Christian for many years, you will have a home at FBC Tijeras!
We invite you to join us on Sunday Mornings for
Life Connection (9:30AM) and Worship Service (10:50AM)

David Murphy, July 19, 2020 - 3:30 pm

My dad, Joe Murphy, this week is being put on a heart monitor for 20 days to assess a low heart rate issue. This may end up with him needing a pace maker. They are also looking at his medications to see if that may be causing the issue. This is on top of his eye issues and not being able to see in one eye and only peripheral vision in the other. Please pray for healing and peace as he is going through this.

David, July 8, 2020 - 9:24 pm

Please pray for Roxeannas cousin Terrah and her husband John and family. They just found out that John’s father has cancer. He has a mass in the liver and in the gall bladder. Pray for healing, comfort and peace as they go through this time of trial and uncertainty. Also, John and Terrah are out of town right now for Johns training for his job so they need prayer for their travels and separation from the family.

Seth, July 5, 2020 - 9:09 pm

I am about $10,000 in unsecured debt, and I haven’t been able to pay the full rent or power bill this time. I’ve tithed for years, and given and given to ministries and those in need. I don’t think I’m in debt primarily from spending, since I’m frugal, but from obsessive giving. Please pray that God will heal the serious brokenness and heart problems that are behind this. That He’ll change the lies and false beliefs. Please pray for the Lord’s forgiveness of all these debts, and that He’ll give me a clean start. Pray for forgiveness and cleansing from many other issues as well. Thanks for your prayers.

Pastor Alan, June 30, 2020 - 2:15 pm

Please pray for my cousin Mike Freeman as I just was informed that my cousin and his brother Steve Freeman passed away last night after a battle with cancer, pray for his family, also pray for Mike's wife Beverly as she too is battling a very bad cancer and she is in stage 4 and is not doing very well.

Pray that Jason & family would recognize Jesus loves them and trust Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

Alan, June 11, 2020 - 1:17 pm

Please continued to pray for Sammie as she is recovering from eye surgery and has to be face down for 10 days. Please pray for Mike and Amy's daughter and her husband. And please pray for me to use God's wisdom in being your Pastor.

Pastor Alan, June 2, 2020 - 9:58 pm

Please pray for Kari’s best friends mom, her name is Kay and one of her lungs collapsed and she is not doing very good.

Please pray for Roxeanna, she is still having pains in her ribs multiple times a week.

Dominic, June 2, 2020 - 5:07 pm
